In May 2004 Truck Center, Inc. held it's first annual truck show. What we accomplished was to provide our customers with a selection of each model vehicle; Peterbilt and Volvo, which we sell and service. We had manufacturers representatives present with their display ads, literature and products to show off their products strengths.

We provided completed units available for sale, ride and drives, as well as providing a donation-based barbeque cookout. There were food and gifts for everyone. We also wanted to do more so we incorporated a Polish and Shine Truck show highlighting our customers and non-customers trucks. We charged an entry fee, as well as giving away 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place trophies in medium duty class, vocational, and tractor class as well as grand trophy for Best In Show.

All proceeds from the polish and shine competition, and the cookout went to benefit the Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall gang camp for terminally ill children. We feel that the combination of showing off our products and what their owners had added to them in accessories as well as providing a charity with a much needed donation was one of Truck Center's largest and proudest accomplishments of 2004. We took over $1,000.00 in donations and had over 20 trucks on display.
